Create This Look – Yellow & Pink Bohemian Stripe Rayon
Hello & Welcome Back! This week I’ve been inspired by the “Altogether Entrancing Dress In Botanical” from ModCloth.
We got this bohemian style stripe in a while ago & I’ve been waiting for an excuse to use it. Well… here it is! This stripe is 100% Rayon, which makes it flowy & perfect for the flutter sleeves of this dress! Even though the colors aren’t the same the bohemian feel of the print is what I was drawn to.
The pattern I chose is S6413 from the New Look Collection by Simplicity. I recommend View C. The pattern suggests the following suitable fabrics for this dress: Charmeuse, Cotton Lawn, Cotton Blends, Crepe, Crepe Back Satin, Crepe De Chine, Double Georgette, Faille, Lightweight Linens, Satin, Batiste, & Voile. I’m not sure why they didn’t include Rayon, because they should have. Rayon is lightweight & flowy, perfect for this type of dress/ jumpsuit.
