Create This Look – Large Black Floral Rayon
Happy Monday! I hope everyone had an awesome weekend! This week I was inspired by the “Find Your Grace In The Sun Dress” from ModCloth. This is such a cute dress for spring. The inspiration look is made of a stretch knit, but we have a rayon that reminded me of the print.
The fabric I chose is a very pretty floral rayon. I love how soft & flowey rayon dresses feel. This style dress is so perfect for a rayon fabric.
The pattern I chose is S6557 from the New Look Collection by Simplicity. I recommend using View C. The straps are most similar to our inspiration dress. This pattern suggests using a number of different materials to create this dress including: Cotton, Broadcloth, Poplin, Seersucker, Silks, Rayons, Crepe De Chine, Satin, Taffeta, & Linens just to name a few. With so many options, this pattern would be a great edition to your pattern collection.
