Create This Look – Navy Cotton Tweed
Hey everyone! I hope last week was awesome & you have been able to enjoy some awesome fall weather! This week I was inspired by the “Once Upon A Thyme Coat In Midnight” from ModCloth. I figured since coat season is approaching or upon us, you should have something to add to your looks instead of just covering them up.
The pattern I chose for this look is M7058 by Mccalls. I recommend using View E. This View includes a detachable fur piece around the hood. Whether you include this is up to you. I also recommend using the belt from View B.
The fabric I chose is an awesome heavy 100% cotton tweed. This tweed immediately came so mind as soon as I saw this coat on ModCloth. It is heavy enough for a winter coat, but it is also completely natural, so it will breath.
