Create This Look – Teal Floral Chiffon
Hello! & Welcome Back! I hope you have been enjoying this campaign. I sure enjoy creating them. ;D This weeks look is inspired by the “Infinite Options Top in Cerulean” from ModCloth.
I love everything about this top. The shape, the color, & the print is beautiful. The inspiration top is made using what looks like a lightweight stretch jersey or knit. The fabric I chose uses the same exact print, but its chiffon. I know I have seen tops like this in chiffon, so when I saw this top I knew I had to share it with you.
If you feel the need to line your top, I recommend using our Teal Poly/Cotton. Personally, I would leave it unlined & wear a tank top, cami, or bandu, underneath; but its totally up to you.
The pattern I chose is M6960 by Mccalls. It has several different options but I recommend using view C. I think one of the best details on this top is the hemline. The patterns hem isn’t as defined as our inspiration piece, but it is easy enough to adjust this as you cut out your pattern pieces.
