Create This Look – Watercolor Floral Chiffon
Good Morning! The “Plant Ahead Top” from ModCloth was the inspiration for this weeks look. I wasn’t quick enough… again & ModCloth has sold out of this top. That being said this is a great blouse to have in your wardrobe. The basic shape means you can mix and match it with a lot of different pieces, creating a brand new outfit every time you wear it.
The pattern I chose to create this look is S1253 by Simplicity. I recommend using View C, although this pattern contains a lot of great options.
I am a huge fan of the fabric I chose for this look, its probably the reason I picked it. ;P It is a flowy chiffon that features a beautiful watercolor style floral print. Our inspiration look uses what looks like a lightweight polyester or rayon so it isn’t lined however, since this fabric is quite sheer you might want to line it.
If you choose to line your blouse, I recommend using our White Poly/Cotton or White Polyester Crepe De Chine.
