A group of women were conversing at JoAnns about the elastic shortage. I told them about F&M. Luckily they accept email orders, and have a great system to allow purchase during this pandemic.

Caitlin was awesome as well as the owner (Marcel?) who handed me my bag of elastic. Now I have plenty of time to sew masks for the local hospitals.

I need 20 yards of 1/8 inch elastic for masks.
Do you recommend the 1/8 or 1/4 inch for masks?

Hey Alice, I’m so sorry! I just now noticed your question. Personally, I prefer the 1/8″, but either size works very well.
